Well, Look at you, reading my blog...

How sweet of you to come back and read my blog. I'm just here watching Sixteen Candles and waiting for my sexy boyfriend. I've been a bit drained lately, like I have a cold, but not really, just no energy. Did that ever happen to you? Well, I guess I haven't really got too much to say right now. Ok, goodbye.

I just have one question...

Above is a link. Follow it and watch this video. Then continue reading.

Ok, perhaps this is a familiar commercial. Perhaps you have seen it on TV. Mothers, you might even be glad for this product, maybe you really love it. The commercial is well shot, good light, good makeup, and yet...

What kind of a person could put together a commercial where they have to make all of those babies cry just so that they could film it?

I mean that is just so mean!!!

well...

I just watched the movie The Descent. Great film. Wow, I am really happy that I finally watched that. My co-worker has been telling me to watch that for some time. The only issue I had was that I was drinking Gin and Tonics, and I have a tendency to sip when I get nervous or anxious, so by the end of the movie here, I am quite buzzed. But seriously, that was a fantastic movie. I have three for tomorrow. I have Silent Hill, House of 1000 Corpses, and The Devil's Rejects for tomorrow, and I am just not sure that they can live up to this one. I mean, this was really an original. The plot was complete, the suspense, the surprise, the gore and the drama were all there, and there was a twist ending. What more could you want out of a horror movie? Or any movie for that matter? I mean, wow.
On another note, I am looking forward to my classes this summer. I just got my books today. I am especially excited for creative writing. I started a story: I am seven pages in. yay.
Well, J has to get up early for work tomorrow, so I should stop typing, it might be keeping him from falling asleep.
Thanks for reading,
Katie

Guess I have been slacking...

Sorry to any readers that I might actually have, I seem to have been slacking on my postings here. School has been pretty intense this semester, so... anyway. It has been a lot of fun for the most part though. This semester I took Effective Speaking, and though it was nerve racking, I really enjoyed learning so much from my classmates. I also took Bioethics, and got a chance to examine my own views on these issues. You see, living in Vermont, I find that a lot of the time my views are more corroborated than challenged. It was a great chance to have my views challenged by people who actually have taken time to consider their position, and have rational, intelligent supports for their views. So that was really a lot of fun.
Saturday is Green Up Day here in Vermont, everyone get out your trashbags and go out and clean up your yards and roadsides and parks. We love to keep it green and clean here in Vermont, if only all states would follow suit with this holiday. Then again, other states don't have as many breweries supporting cleaning up the garbage! Thank you Otter Creek!
Well, that is about all I have to say about that.
Talk to you later.
